tuesday’s find

November 30, 2010

Another good art source! This is called 20×200.  This one has something for all price points and decor styles. Shop by color, price and subject matter. But make sure you head over to OKL for a discount if you’ve found something you like as they are selling  $100 worth of art for $59.  Here are a few of my favorites from the New Yorker section.

Powerpuff Girls by Amy Stein

West Forty-third Street (Yellow Cabs) by Joseph O. Holmes

Untitled (Mott Street) by Alison Grippo

iSketch104 by Jorge Colombo

Ideal Bookshelf 5, TRE by Jane Mount

Let the decorating begin!

November 29, 2010

I’m must admit I’m a total dork. I’m that girl that starts to decorate her house the second the last plate hits the dishwasher after Thanksgiving dinner. I love to the twinkle of little white lights all over the house. So I spent my day doing it up and spreading holiday cheer all over my home. Probably as no surprise I have a little bit of a theme. Green, white, silver and a dash of turquoise. Hope these images get you in the spirit too.

Merry Monday

November 22, 2010

Hope you are all off to fun places to see your family and friends this week. Or you are busy getting your place ready for guest to come see you!  If you are preparing you place don’t forget the details. Little things to make you guests feel special is always appreciated. I love this house because of it’s little details and vibrant pallet. What do you think?

A family space

November 19, 2010

I’m loving this family loft I spied over on MS. They turned an old  and dark into bright and beautiful with bold prints and vibrant colors. The simple blue, yellow and white color scheme unifies the space and gives it a homey feel. I love how everything takes your eye to the ceiling by using tall drapes and oversized art. The white floors amp up the bright and airy feel.  Enjoy!  Happy weekend!

Oversized art work really gives a focal point to the room.

Some graphic wallpaper really sets the tone for this fun space

mad for plaid

November 18, 2010

This time of year always makes me what to drape things…(not myself) in plaid.  It totally reminds me a my catholic school girl kilt or Dad’s xmas pants. Ha!  Keep it simple and add a little plaid to any decor.

Sweet!
