Crazy for Coral

February 11, 2013

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I’m so totally inspired by these gorgeous corals images that I found on Pinterest this weekend. I’m dying to do a whole room in coral and drape my self in coral and drink coral colored drinks! You can pair it with blue, green, red and cream and it’s the perfect punch for spring.  Follow me on Pinterest to see what color is my next obsession!

I just started to watch Mad Men and there were a few scences that feature Don Draper’s bedroom and I’m loving the bluish greenish velvet headboard. Now all I need to do is find the velvet…..

Oh look at me smoking while my husbands sleeps. That’s right just laying in bed smoking. Oh and I smoke at the dinner table while my kids eat and in the car with the windows rolled up. I smoke like 90 million cigarettes a day!

Ha! How crazy is that!

to make a bed

March 10, 2011

I have to make my bed everyday even if it’s right before I get into it at 10 o’clock at night. I can’t stand to sleep in a bed that hasn’t been made. So try to keep it simple and don’t overload you bed with millions of pillows.  Sheets trust me you need a high thread count. Once you sleep on a nice sheets you will never go back. And you can buy nice ones anywhere, Tuesday Morning is my go to. I layer on a coverlet or blanket and then I have a duvet folded at the end of the bed depending on the whether it’s on or off. It takes 3 minutes and it make my house feel a little more organized even if there is chaos everywhere else. (Oh and I make my kids beds too. BAD HABIT! ) Do you make your bed?

tuesday’s find

October 12, 2010

I’m always on the hunt for good bedding.  And I most certainly stumbled on some stylish options from Kerry Cassil.  Pretty blocked prints inspired from her travels abroad.  They are great layered and mixed upon each other and the seem like a soft dreamy place to sleep.  She also has a fun line of tunics, skirts and bags too!
