Luminaries

December 2, 2010

I’m hosting a few shindigs this holiday season and I was thinking I needed to bring the luminary back. When I was a kid we lived on this really long one way street and on Christmas eve everyone lined luminaries out in front of their house . It was so pretty and such a fond memory.  It’s quite simple too. Brown or white paper bags, fill the bottom with a bit of sand to weight it down and a candle. Ta da!
