Love this Michigan Lake house featured in House Beautiful. Designer Martin Horner left the predictable nautical design behind. Instead he treated the house with exotic patterns and beautiful textures and rich blue hues. The details are exquisite!

Where are you headed this weekend? Me nowhere now but I’m dying pick up a secluded lot by a creek in the woods with a view of the mountains. My own little slice of heaven, a place to escape it all and it would look nothing like my current home.
I love the idea of putting a modular home on the property. No it’s not a double wide, it’s a chic modern and minimal space that’s all about the surroundings. What do yo think? What would your slice of heaven look like?
It is going to be anything but dark and stormy around here the next few days. Upper 50’s and sunny for the next 5 days in fact. But this home just gave me a dark and stormy vibe but in the most beautiful way. I love the masculine tones and the wonderful patina on the vintage pieces. Happy Hump Day!
The home was designed by Jimmy Stanton of Stanton Home furnishings in Atlanta’s Foxhall development. More photos here
Check out this stunning home situated on Lake Martin in Alabama. So pretty! It’s neutral interiors are a great back drop for stunning views, and rustic but sophisticated finishes. This home is family friendly enough for 4 kids too! Happy Monday!
First of all I’m dying to paint or whitewash my brick house. I think the look of a white house is so crisp and clean. This house designed by Mia James in Baton Rouge is right up there as a total dream house of mine. I love how the blue is so perfectly threaded throughout the house. Sooooo Pretty!
