So pretty

March 24, 2011

I just love this home. Yes I would pack my bags tomorrow and move in. STUNNING! It’s the home of blogger Sue De Chiaras of The Zhush and the work of interior designer Lauren Muse. It was recently featured in Connecticut Cottages and Gardens. Check out the article here it’s a great story. Take your time and look at all the fabulous details. I’m in love!

Designer Envy

March 21, 2011

I have a full on obsession with swedish style interiors right now.  All the washed linens, painted finishes and soothing pale tones. Designer Shannon Bowers of Dallas Texas used this style to transform her once dark and dreary home into a beautiful calm and serene place to relax and showcase her fabulous collection of antiques. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

life on a farm

March 11, 2011

So my husband has this total fantasy to live on a farm. Live simply, live a slower paced life, have lots of little babies running around. He’d be mayor or something of said small town and I could have a cute little antique shop. Sounds tempting right?  I don’t know I never even thought I would anywhere but the east coast 10 years ago. I think I might just go crazy! But I have to say the story of Emersonmade sure is inspiring. And their home is totally lovely!

Staged this fabulous house for sale in Congress Park this weekend.  The owners had done a beautiful job renovating the place but people were having trouble envisioning the bedrooms. I think the pictures speak for themselves and I love the way it turned out!

Master Bedroom

Bedroom #2 upstairs

Bedroom #3 upstairs

This house is located in  Congress Park, walking distance to shops, restaurants and just across the street from Teller Elementary. It has been fully renovated top to bottom but maintains a great vintage feel. It has three bedroom and a bath upstairs, a half bath on the first floor and a fourth bedroom, full bath and family room in the basement. The lot is over sized at 5940 square fee with all brand new landscaping. It is a real great place let me know if you are interested.

Modern Monday

November 15, 2010

This place is so not child friendly but after a long weekend with kids my alter ego was dreaming of living in a place like this. Ready to ooo and ahhh?

surrounded by water? Oh this is just too dreamy

I'd be so tan and skinny living by this pool

Sleek and chic. The freplace wall is so perfect

who needs a TV with that view?

Open air living yes I wil take some of that too instead of 32degrees
