Room of the Week 2.15

February 15, 2013

I have been driving around with  the March 2013 House Beautiful on my front seat, thumbing through it when I have a second and this room just speaks to me. In an interview the designer said she used 6 wallpapers in this house. My hero! Check out the detail on the drapes, the pattern on the rug and those pretty chairs! I love this and hope you do too.

Happy Weekend!

Dying to try Tempaper!

“Tempaper is self-adhesive, “peel-and-stick”, temporary wallpaper that eliminates the need for paste or water. Simply remove its backing and adhere to a primed and painted surface. Just peel off to remove. It is fun and high-impact decorating for those who do not want to make a long-term commitment to a permanent design or renters who can’t!
If you choose, Tempaper can be a part of your home design indefinitely!”

Note: Sold as 1 double roll of 20.5 in. x 11 yds. = 56.37 ft. This gets you about 3 strips per roll on your wall.

Love this one the best

Resource Alert

April 14, 2011

I get lots of inquiries on where to find wallpaper. Well the Design Center is always a good place to start but if you can’t make it there I have just the place for you.  I recently stumbled upon Design Your Hundreds to choose from in many many styles. Something to suit everyone. Note: spend the money on a sample to test drive your favorites whenever ordering online. You will be happy you did!

Sneek Peek…

March 23, 2011

Here is a little sneak peak of a room I’ve been working on. You wouldn’t belive the transformation of this room. It used have red walls, gross polyester curtains and textured walls. We skimmed the walls and added a “faux wainscoting” and up to now have added some fabulous and afforable wallpaper from Schumacher. I’m thrilled with the way it is turning out!  More details next week when we install a few more things.

And in the powder room more wallpaper. I love this paper!
